Bayern München has confirmed the dismiss of their coach Niko Kovač. Bayern lost 5-1 in their bundesliga game against Eintrach Frankfurt this week and it has pushes them to sack Kovač.
Bayern has won just one of their last 4 league games and it has send them to the 4th position on the league table.
Kovač has work with Bayern for one and half years. He turn the face of the Bayern team to won the league, the DFP Pokal cup and the DFL super cup last season when he was appointed.
The team CEO Harl-Heinz Rummenigge explain the reason behind the decision.He said ”the performance of the team in recent weeks and the results have shown us that, the was a need for action. So I, Uli Hoeness and Hason Salihamidzic had a meeting with Niko and on this basis, with the consensual results that Niko is no longer a coach of Bayern”.
Bayern has confirm Hansi Flick as the person who will take in charge of the team in their Champions League game against olympiacos this Wednesday and the Klassiker against Borussia Dortmund this weekend.
